    She & Him (M. Ward & Zooey Deschanel) – Tomorrow

    Lakers vs. Thunder (Playoffs Game 1) – Sunday?

    Angels vs. Tigers – Monday

    Lakers vs. Thunder (Playoffs Game 2) – Tuesday? 

    Something’s gotta give (sell).  I don’t think I can make it to all of that in the next seven days… I’ll definitely be at Vampire Weekend and She & Him…

  • @fangstar - Haha, I might have to skip the Angels game from being too tired and hopefully can sell Lakers Game 2.  But I’m definitely going to Game 1 to get my free t-shirt!

  • If I’d seen you, I would have said hi! My second time seeing them, so here’s some input: They’re much looser than last year (when they had only one album out) but Zooey is still not big on the banter. More songs from the new album but they hit the best of the first. By the way, what’s up with some bands not letting concertgoers take pictures? Kinda bummed, but on the flip side, it’s much nicer not having a million cell phones and cameras blocking the view.

    Yeah, I was expecting her to be more playful with the crowd, but maybe her acting persona is different than her real one? They were way stiffer last year? 1st time ever @ Glasshouse that they put on a camera ban, usually it’s one of the most lax venues around. I’m thinking it’s because Zooey isn’t that comfortable on stage yet with all those flshes. To her credit tho’ she does look very focused during her songs. She’s probably just not that comfortable on the concert stage yet. I snuck my camera in, but only took one blurry pic at the end. I like how M.Ward works the guitar. Fun to watch.
